Honda Aircraft Company Celebrates Type Validation of HondaJet Elite II in Brazil at LABACE 2026
Brazil’s business aviation scene has a new arrival. Honda Aircraft Company has delivered its first HondaJet Elite II to the country, following official type validation from Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), which confirms the aircraft meets the authority’s safety and performance requirements and is approved for registration.
For travellers accustomed to crossing South America by air, the significance is clear. The Elite II is designed to make longer journeys between the region’s cities more direct, combining a maximum NBAA IFR range of 1,547 nautical miles with increased fuel capacity and a suite of performance enhancements. Its cabin is equally geared towards making time in the air feel effortless, while advanced automation—including autothrottle—helps reduce pilot workload and maintain a consistent cruising speed.
The arrival also strengthens Honda Aircraft Company’s presence in a market where private aviation is an increasingly important part of the travel landscape. Sales of the HondaJet Elite II in Brazil will continue through Lider Aviação, HondaJet’s exclusive authorised sales representative in the country. Based in Belo Horizonte, Lider operates 22 fixed-base operations across Brazil and has supported nine HondaJet deliveries in the country since 2017.
The aircraft will make its public appearance at LABACE 2026, Latin America’s largest business aviation exhibition, held at São Paulo’s Campo de Marte Airport from 4–6 August 2026.
With more than 250 HondaJets delivered globally by 2024, the Elite II represents another step in Honda’s ambition to make private flying faster, smarter and distinctly more comfortable—particularly for those looking to explore South America on their own schedule.
