Cathay Pacific Expands Aria Suite Experience to Second Daily London Flight

Cathay Pacific is bringing its latest premium cabin experience to more travellers flying between London and Hong Kong, with its acclaimed Aria Suite and newly redesigned Premium Economy cabins set to feature on a second daily Heathrow service.
From late October 2026, passengers travelling on selected flights operated by the airline’s retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER will have access to Cathay Pacific’s newest cabin products. The expansion means both CX250 and CX254 from London Heathrow to Hong Kong will feature the upgraded aircraft, with the corresponding return services, CX253 and CX255, also benefiting from the refreshed interiors.
At the heart of the transformation is Cathay Pacific’s Aria Suite in Business Class. Designed around privacy, space and contemporary comfort, the suite combines a wraparound seating design with intuitive controls, premium finishes and an advanced inflight entertainment system. The product has already received industry recognition, winning Best New Business Class at TheDesignAir Awards.
Cathay Pacific’s Premium Economy cabin has undergone an equally significant redesign. Passengers can expect increased personal space, generous legroom and recline, improved privacy and an enhanced dining experience. The cabin also incorporates Cathay Pacific’s highly regarded inflight entertainment, while selected routes feature dishes created in partnership with acclaimed restaurants, including Hong Kong’s Yat Tung Heen.
Brian Tsoi, Cathay Pacific’s Regional General Manager for Europe, described the expansion as an important milestone in enhancing the experience for customers travelling between the UK and Hong Kong.
The move forms part of Cathay Pacific’s wider Boeing 777-300ER retrofit programme and comes during the airline’s 80th anniversary year. The carrier continues to receive international recognition, including a top-two ranking from Airline Ratings and the title of World’s Best Economy Class at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards.
For travellers seeking a more refined long-haul experience, the additional Aria Suite service makes London–Hong Kong an increasingly compelling premium route.
