Set on the banks of Devon’s Exe Estuary, five-star country house hotel Lympstone Manor has partnered with children’s lifestyle brand Banwood to introduce a new way for families to explore its 28-acre estate.

The partnership brings a fleet of Banwood’s Scandi-inspired bicycles, trikes and scooters to the hotel, encouraging younger guests to discover its woodland paths, vineyard and direct access to the Exe Estuary Trail, which leads towards Exmouth Beach. The collection’s timeless design and wicker baskets make them particularly suited to leisurely family adventures, from collecting shells to carrying picnic treasures.

For October half-term, families can make the most of the partnership with a seasonal Shepherd’s Hut escape, with children staying free when sharing with adults from 23 October to 1 November 2026. Tucked into woodland at the foot of the estate vineyard, the dog-friendly huts feature private terraces, countryside views, bunk beds with stargazing skylights and outdoor firepits for marshmallow toasting.

Beyond the estate, families can enjoy sailing, paddleboarding, cycling and coastal walks, while the Jurassic Coast offers opportunities for fossil hunting. Guests can also choose from family passes to Crealy Theme Park, Wildwood Devon or a river or coastal cruise.

Shepherd’s Hut stays start from £448 per night including breakfast.
